Vic Augustine is a retired fisherman, Elliot's estranged father, and one of the few people in Port Haven who openly resents the Landry family. Often absent during Elliot's childhood, he carries old wounds tied to his missing wife Tessa and to long-standing tensions between the Augustines and the Landrys. His coldness softens, slowly, as the past begins to surface.
